We've finally made the election to choose the winner of the "Happy Rebel Remix Contest 2008" that will be featured on our new album, "X marks the spot"!

It was a tough decision to make, even though we've invited external people as jury members in order to have a fair contest.

IMPORTANT: This album contains remix versions of one of our song - not actual music played by us!

Please check out one of our actual albums, like e.g. our first CD "...Done!"

At the end of 2007, we've announced a remixing contest for our song "Happy Rebel" up to May 2008.

In the three years since XBloome has released their first CD "...Done!", many things have happened:

• Since December 2007, XBloome sometimes also plays an unplugged set with different guest musicians.
• In 2008, a trumpet player joins the band
• June 2008, presentation of the results from the "Happy Rebel remix- and cover-contest"
• Summer 2008, first video "time crisis"

XBloome ist ein vierköpfiges Musikkollektiv aus Österreich. Der musikalische Spannungsbogen der Band bewegt sich zwischen melancholischen bis hin zu peitschenden Synthie-Pop-Songs. Die Hauptträger der Melodien sind ein bis zwei Synthesizer, ein Drum-Computer und ein E-Bass. Dazu gesellen sich gelegentlich ein Glockenspiel und eine Trompete. Seit seiner Gründung 2005 hat XBloome schon auf Festivals wie dem Electronic-Beats Festival in Graz, dem Böllerbauer Open-Air in Haag und auf Festivals in Schweden und Tschechien gespielt. Auch in Österreichs Club-Szene ist XBloome kein unbeschriebenes Blatt mehr, wie Gigs in Arena, Fluc, B72, Chelsea, Klub Ost, Rhiz in Wien; Smaragd/Linz, Bergwerk/Neusiedl, Denkmal/Salzburg uvm. belegen.
