What do you think when you hear "arrrrrrrrrrrr"? Pirates? Yes, you are right! ;-) On Sunday, August 29th, 2010 we supported the "Piratenpartei" at Rumba&Mambo Club in Vienna at the so called "Operation Klabautermann". The club is located directly on the water (Alte Donau) and so the feeling of "Rumba&Mambo" was stronger than we thought. (Only one thing that made us a little bit unhappy was that we had to play without our trumpet-player ...)
And what can you do to make this feeling stronger? :-) Yes, you invite a second band which makes music like "Rumba&Mambo" --> Niche Cubano y su Fusión!! (great guys)
All in all it was a great evening ...
Lovely greetings,
XBloome

"It`s raining man ...." -> that what we thought when we arrived at "Böllerbauer Open-Air" or in other words, it was a "mud-party"! :-) It really felt good to sit in the old farmhouse where an old chimney was heating ...
On stage we also felt the weather. From behind, the rain was humidify us, and from ahead the flood light was heating us. In spite of everthing we had a great time and wanted to say to Böllerbauer and everybody who was there! ;-)
Lovely greetings,
XBloome

So, we hope to be at "Tortuga 2011" again --> http://tortuga.piratenpartei.at/?id=2

July 10th, 2010 - a house in a small village near Vienna, small garden, good-humored party crowd, beer and everything to do a perfect barbecue! Cause of Hannes (aka Mr. Korg) is a friend of the host we had the amusement to play at this party.
We felt like travelled back in times when we started to play on parties like this our first shows.
It was amusing and a diversion not to play in a location where everything has to work on time, but to make sound check and so on by the time we liked.
So we had a nice evening and hope that the party found a nice conclusion!

Last Saturday (June 12th, 2010) we played a show at Volksgarten / Banane in Vienna - thanks to Supportedby. It was part of the 36stunden party where also DJ Jesus Luz performed on Friday evening. (Take a look at the pics)
Cause of the concerts took eight hours / eight bands we played at 11:15 pm. It was a little bit exceptional for us to play at this time, but we had fun aside from the temperature ...! :-)
Thanks to all of you which enjoyed our show on such a hot Saturday morning, we appreciated it a lot.
Now we make a concert break in Vienna till September where we see us at Rhiz again! (More information you can find at "Tour" or "Upcoming shows"!
Lovely greetings,
XBloome

On May. 21st we played our show at Venster99 in Vienna. There is one very big advantage of Venster99 -> we just have to walk up to three or four minutes from our rehearsal room to the location.
Thanks to Schrenz for your support, we liked it!
Thanks to the audience for bashful dancing ...
Thanks to the DJs ... good music
Thanks to Venster99, we had a topnotch night!
The party was until 05:00 o`clock in the morning ... but than, everybody was glad to go to bed.

Our next show brought us to the Quake-Bar in Waidhofen / Ybbs. We had the pleasure to go with "Dokta`s" refurbished VW-Bus.
In Waidhofen we met with Palindrome which shared the stage with us. The Quake-Bar is an old brick-arch ... very nice! :-)
The sound was good and so Palindrome and we played till midnight. After finishing our shows we felt sorry that we couldn`t spend more time to talke to the audience at the Quake-Bar, but our driver felt a little bit tired and wanted to drive us home safely.
Back in Vienna - 03:00 am (sic!) - we just brought some flyers to "Venster99" where we will play our next show and than we went straight home.

Graz, Baby! – Electronic Beats Festival @ Kasematten / Graz

Thanks to everybody who voted for us at Supportedby to make it possible to play as opening-act at the Electronic Beats Festival in Graz.
We droved directly up to the „Uhrturm“ to get to the sound check in time at the venue. It was a warm welcome and everybody of the event-stuff there was totally helpful and very friendly. After the sound check Peter and Hannes joined the backstage area where they found a great buffet. Bernhard, Belinda and Berni where checking a parking lot in Graz which took them nearly 1 ½ hour.
After they came back from their „searching for parking lot hororr-trip“ we started our interview-marathon: Supportedby, Radio Soundportal (incl. photo-session) and a video-interview for Electronic Beats TV.
Time past by extremely fast so we almost got in a hurry to get our pre-show preparation and styling done in time. At 18:30 we entered the stage to play our short and sexy 20 minute set.
After our show we enjoyed a very cool party-night at Kasematten till the last band finished the Electronic Beats Festival at 23:00 o`clock …
We brought our stuff to the cars, took a little midnight-snack and went to the hotel to get some sleep.
The next morning we took a little walk through Graz and than we went back home ...

After packing our two cars we started our journey to Salzburg.
The roadtrip to Salzburg was amusing but it was hot in the car and we were happy when we arrived at the youth hostel. Our rooms have been in the basement of the building and it was a little bit like in a submarine! :-)
After we checked out everything we brought our instruments to the location which took us only like 5 minutes ... after arriving at the "Denkmal", we built up everything, did the soundcheck and talked to the people. At 23:30 we started to play. We arranged a setlist for nearly one hour. But after this hour we played one more hour, because the audience wouldn't let us leave the stage. :) Great!
After our show we still felt like "partying on" until 03:30 am.
After only 5 hours sleep we had to get up again, fetch some breakfast in time in order to check out until 10:00 am! :-(
Because of the weather and the limited car parking possibilites in Salzburg we decided to drive home, where "Vienna's May-Party" was waiting for Peter! :-)
All in all it was a wonderful evening in Salzburg with very nice people we're really looking forward to seeing again.

Wow ... what a great evening yesterday! It was really cool to play again in Vienna after such a long break.
We enjoyed playing the show in front of such a lovely audience. Special thanks for your great support, during the chaotic interruption
of "Slow Motion". Well, you know: Things like that can happen even to the greatest bands :-)

Thanks to Edelbrand-Records for organizing the show at Chelsea, especially to Tom. Pics from our show will be online within the next days - Thanks to all photographers ;-)

We hope to see you all at our next show at the Venster99 / Vienna on Mai, 21st again?
We will play there together with "Schrenz".

First of all, sorry that we didn´t play our show @ "Bergwerk" / Neusiedl (Feb. 20th, 2010)! At the beginning of the week our singer became ill and didn`t feel fit enough till Saturday to perform. But we will catch up the show this year in autumn!! Thanks to "Propella" to play the show instead of us! :-)

We have also good news for you! Our show @ Denkmal / Salzburg is fixed now! So we will see you there at April. 30th, 2010!!

After a long break, XBloome are back on stage!

We played our first gig in 2010 at the "Raha" in Stoob (AT). It was like a rebirth to stand on a stage again after a nine months break ... but it worked, and we had a great time during the concert! But it wasn't only this feeling, we've missed: Also the whole "tour-like packing the cars with all our stuff and driving through the sunset to the location" is something we can't live without. It was also a premiere of our walkie-talkies, which we used to stay in contact between our cars and coordinate our convoy. And of course we've had time for good-old nonsense, like making jokes about Peter's inability to navigate anywhere: "what is Peter doing in Eisenstadt? He's getting lost!" ;-)

We want to say thanks to the "Raha-Crew" and the audience for a beautiful night in Stoob -> you rock! :-)

Our next gig will be at the "Bergwerk" in Neusiedl with "The Skelettones" (February 20th, 2010). So we're playing in "Burgenland" again.

One more information for all of you, who will be part of our first show in Vienna since March 2009, at the "Chelsea" on March 29th -> Pre-selling at the "Jugendinfo Wien" started. Tickets will cost 5 €, if you buy them at the Chelsea, the tickets will cost you 6 €.
